VC Bet report plenty of support for defending champion Phil Mickelson in the AT&T National Pro-Am at Pebble Beach this week, and it's almost been to the exclusion of anyone else.
Golf spokesman Glenn Hyslop says it's been all one way traffic. "We went 9/2 on Mickelson at first and basically we got steam-rollered. We cut him to 4/1 but it didn’t stop the flow of cash. Somewhat reluctantly we are now 7/2, but the take out is getting silly."
Mickelson has won this event three times and was a play-off loser in Phoenix at the weekend following a sixth place at Torrey Pines on his seasonal debut.
