Ross McGowan 10/1 favourite to win the Joburg Open

Ross McGowan is Sky Bet's 10/1 favourite to win the Joburg Open in South Africa after the first round today.

The Englishman carded an impressive five-under-par 66 and lies just one shot off the pace.

Home favourites Mark Murless and Tyrone Ferreira are the co-leaders after shooting 65s but they can be backed at long odds of 20/1 and 40/1 respectively with the same firm.

Andrew McLardy, Louis Oosthuizen, James Kingston are joint 12/1 second favourites for the title but they do trail some way back on three under par.
