With six wins at Torrey Pines to his name Tiger has never finished worse than 10th on the course and Paddy Power face a significant seven figure payout should Tiger clinch his 14th Major on Sunday with the biggest single bet on him so far a £10,000 flutter.
Darren Haines, spokesman for Paddy Power, said: "We held the price as long as we could but at 7/2 punters were falling over themselves to back Tiger’s course pedigree over his dodgy knee.
"We’re already staring down the barrel of our second biggest golf payout ever behind Padraig Harrington's victory at last year’s British Open – and even that figure could come under threat."
