US Open: Tiger Woods drifting in Outright Winner Market

Tiger Woods is drifting in the betting for the US Open with William Hill now quoting Tiger at 2/1 from 7/4. Hills have also seen money for Tiger to miss the cut and have shortened the price from 8/1 to 11/2, offering 1/10 that he makes it.

"Torrey Pines is one of Tigers favourite courses and we have taken a large amount of Ante-Post money on Tiger winning prior to the knee surgery. It will be very interesting to see how quickly Tiger can come out of the gate but the money for him to miss the cut will worry many of his backers," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.

William Hill 2008 US Open odds: 2/1 Woods, 8/1 Mickelson, 20/1 Harrington, 20/1 Garcia, 25/1 Els, 25/1 Singh, 25/1 Furyk, 25/1 Donald, 33/1 Goosen, 33/1 Scott, 33/1 Rose, 33/1 Ogilvy, 40/1 Immelman, 40/1 Cink, 50/1 Weir, 50/1 Leonard J, 66/1 Westwood, 80/1 Karllson, 100/1 Casey, 125/1 Poulter, 125/1 Montgomerie, 125/1 Jimenez
