An American-style course with fairly generous fairways leading to large, generally flat, bermuda greens. Water comes into play on 10 holes. The par-5’s are the 3rd, 10th, 13th and 18th, all of which provide birdie / eagle chances. The par-4 6th and 9th are the toughest holes on the course which, along with the demanding par-3 4th, makes the front nine a more demanding test.
The course is host to the Dubai Desert Classic, the final leg of the three-week “Middle East Swing.”
Bettingpro Notes: Long-hitting is an advantage as the four par-5’s all provide genuine eagle chances. In-running punters should note that three of those par-5’s are on the back nine, which plays easier than the front nine.
