A flat track with generous fairways and relatively easy, flat greens. The four par-5’s (the 6th, 9th,11th and 18th) are all reachable in two. Naturally, low scores were common-place but, for 2006, the course was toughened-up significantly. Several new fairway bunkers were added and the rough was allowed to grow to within six or seven feet of the fairway. As a result, there were far more bogeys than in the past.
The course is host to the BMW International Open, which in 2007 was moved from its traditional late-August slot to the week after the US Open in June.
GolfBettingpro Notes: With the course now a real test, players must make their score on the reachable par-5‘s, giving the longer hitters a big advantage. Beware of course form prior to 2006 as this may be suspect due to the course changes.
