Ross' Three Off The Tee:-

Jeev Milkha Singh @ 10/1 Ladbrokes
While many of the Europeans taking part this week will be unfamiliar with the course, it will be meat and drink to the local players and I make no apologies for picking three of them this week, headed by their top-ranked player Singh. None can boast his record of six Asian Tour wins, including two that were co-sanctioned with the European Tour, and his form at this venue - 12th, 15th and 11th on his three starts here - and recent form - 15th place at the Dubai Desert Classic - isn't too shabby either. A worthy favourite and a must for the staking plan at double-figure odds.

Gaganjeet Bhullar @ 25/1 Totesport
While Singh has been India's top-ranked golfer for a number of years, he will be looking over his shoulder at the next crop of talent coming through and Bhullar is potentially the best of the lot. Already a winner on the Professional Golf Tour of India - five times no less from just seven starts in 2009, including the DLF Masters at this course in September - his confidence will be sky high after shooting a final round 64 to win last week's Asian Tour International. Back on home soil, I just can't see him not being in contention this week.

Jyoti Randhawa @ 28/1 Coral
Randhawa is hard to fancy on recent efforts but he's simply mustard in this part of the world - fifth on last season's Asian Tour money list despite playing just 10 events - and I'm expecting him to have a hot week on a course he clearly loves - won the 2007 version of the DLF Masters here by 10 shots, successfully defending that title in 2008 and then finishing tied-4th last year. His price of 28/1 is big enough to curry my favour too.

Bubbling Under: Mukesh Kumar (100/1 Skybet)
With eight Indian Tour titles to his name, including last week's 'Players Championship', and two top-12 finishes in his last four starts at this venue, the 44-year-old could belie his odds.

Punters Beware: European golfers
Not the strongest contingent of Europeans assembled this week and many are playing the course for the first time - go to with the locals!
