You don't need to have gone to Specsavers to spot that 20/1 is a cracking price this week.
Phil Mickelson is favourite across the board for this week's Byron Nelson Championship played at the the TPC course at Las Colinas.
The Course: TPC Four Seasons Resort, Irving, Texas (par-70, 7,166 yards)
It's difficult to know what to make of the course changes that were unveiled last year. Some players thought the course played the same while others felt that it played like a different course. Either way, this is still a course which places a premium on accurate driving and sound approach play. Unusually, there are just two par-5's - the 7th and 16th.
Ross' Top Tip: Ian Poulter @ 20/1 Coral
The cocksure Englishman has stayed on in America after his second place in the Players Championship and punters should take the hint. That Sawgrass performance was his second top-five placing in a row on the PGA Tour, and corrective eye surgery at the start of the year seems to have worked wonders. And, as he finished third on this track two years ago, you don't need to have gone to Specsavers to spot that 20/1 is a cracking price this week.
Next Best: Charley Hoffman @ 25/1 Paddy Power
The Texan is one of the longest drivers on Tour but a quick check of the stats reveals that he's also one of the straightest, which will be an important asset this week. Unsurprisingly then, he's twice made the top-10 here, and Sunday's ninth place finish at LaCantera confirmed he's in tip-top nick, as he has been all year - seven top 20's and 12 made cuts out of 12.
Outsider: Dustin Johnson @ 90/1 bet365
Mickelson aside, many of golf's big names are conspicuous by their absence this week, which makes the 90/1 on offer for Johnson even harder to fathom - he's as short as 66/1 in places! This is a golfer who has already won twice on the Tour, from just 44 starts no less, and last week's tied-24th doesn't tell the whole story as, after an opening 74, he shot a blistering 65-62 to lie tied-8th going into Sunday.
Tournament Lay: Vijay Singh for a place - currently 8.8 on Betfair
Although the Fijian has won here back in 2003, the course doesn't really play to his strengths and, while his most recent form has been more encouraging, he has looked a shadow of his former self this season.
Ross' 72-Hole Match Bet: Charley Hoffman to beat David Toms @ 10/11 Betfred
