Most of the stars of last week's Match Play have chosen to have the week off but there's still a decent field assembled for the Honda Classic, which is being played at the PGA National Champion Course for the third year running.
The Course: PGA National Resort & Spa (Champion Course), FLA (par-70, 7,158 yards)
A tricky Jack Nicklaus-redesigned track which, combined with windy conditions, has yielded winning scores of just five-under and six-under so far. There's a lot of water to contend with and the wind is expected to be a factor, placing an emphasis on solid ball-striking. As you'd expect from a par-70, there's only two par-5's - the 3rd and 18th, easily the longest at 604 yards.
Ross’ Top Tip: Camilo Villegas @ 14/1 Paddy Power
Has made an indifferent start to the year but his season could be about to take off now he's back in Florida, where he has a home and always seems to play well. Certainly, he looked close to his brilliant best last week - brushed aside Rod Pampling (7&6) and Miguel Angel Jimenez (5&4) before succumbing to eventual winner and my 25/1 headline tip Geoff Ogilvy in the third round - and he finished second here two years ago.
Next Best: Justin Leonard @ 35/1 Boylesports
When the winds gets up, Leonard is always a player to have on your side - has won the Texan Open three times and is a previous winner of this event albeit on a different track - and he's in good form having made the quarter-finals at last week's World Matchplay.
Outsider: Bill Haas @ 110/1 bet365
Still very much playing in the shadows of his famous father Jay but recent signs are that he's about to make his breakthrough and bag his maiden Tour win. He finished ninth on his first start of the year in the Sony Open, 11th in last month's Buick Invitational, and played better last week than his final placing of tied-38th suggests - a second round 65 and final round 67 were spoiled by over-par efforts on Thursday and Saturday. Finished 13th here in 2007, so we know he acts on the track.
Tournament Lay: Rory McIlroy for a place - 5.3 on Betfair at the time of writing
Will be popular with punters this week after his sparkling US Tour debut at the Accenture but his aggressive style is not ideally suited to this track.
Ross’ 72-Hole Match Bet: Ernie Els to beat Rory McIlroy @ 17/20 Boylesports
