Tiger Woods makes a long-awaited comeback this week when he lines up in the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
The former long-time world number one is 20/1 to win the tournament and 100/1 to sink a hole in one, while
Ladbrokes are also offering odds of 6/1 that he withdraws. All eyes will be on his first tee shot and he is expected to make the fairway at 1/2, with odds of 6/4 that he does not.
Rory McIlroy is the 12/1 favourite to win what appears to be a competitive tournament, with Lee Westwood, Luke Donald, Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker and Dustin Johnson all available at 16/1.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told Golfbettingpro: "Woods fans are still at large according to the early money we've seen. No-one seems bothered that he's a far shorter price to withdraw from the tournament than win.
"As ever McIlroy has been backed along with Garcia & Kuchar at bigger prices. We'd be happy to see Westwood win."
