Tiger Woods delivered for his country on Sunday, and now William Hill are wondering if he can achieve Major glory in 2012.
Woods claimed the winning point for the USA in the Presidents Cup, and having narrowly missed out in Australia the week before, he is perhaps almost back to his best. Hills now offer 7/2 that he wins a Major in 2012 and 16/1 that he wins two.
For those not convinced, it is 5/1 that the former long-time world number one’s next major win will not be until 2013, and it is 25/1 that he misses the cut at all four majors in 2012.
Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams told Bettingpro.com: “Tiger could well return to winning ways in the near future and I for one would not bet against another major victory next year.”
