PGA Tour Betting – Mickelson odds shortened after win

William Hill have shortened their odds on Phil Mickelson topping the PGA Tour Money List at the end of 2012.

Tiger Woods would appear to be on the way back to his best, but Mickelson’s return to the winner’s enclosure this past weekend will not be a welcome sight.

That said Tiger is 9/2 at William Hill to top the PGA Tour Money List, with Mickelson slashed from 25/1 just a couple of weeks ago, to 8/1 joint second favourite.

Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams told Bettingpro.com: “Woods will not be happy to see Mickelson on such good form but the golf world and punters alike will be rubbing their hands with glee.”

Latest William Hill Odds:

PGA Tour Money List: 9/2 Tiger Woods, 8/1 Rory Mcllroy, 8/1 Phil Mickelson, 10/1 Luke Donald, 12/1 Webb Simpson, 12/1 Steve Stricker, 16/1 Dustin Johnson, 20/1 Nick Watney, 20/1 Lee Westwood, 25/1 Jason Day, 25/1 Adam Scott, 25/1 Matt Kuchar28/1 Brandt Snedeker, 33/1 Rickie Fowler, 33/1 Hunter Mahan, 40/1 Bar
