Bookmaker William Hill are betting on the opening morning foursomes at the 2012 Ryder Cup and Europe are 15/8 to take a lead into the Friday afternoon session.
Team USA are 6/5 to be ahead at lunch with the tie at 5/2.
William Hill offer 25/1 that Europe take all four points into lunch, with the USA 14/1 to for a morning whitewash.
The bookmaker expect Europe to struggle and they are 11/8 to win the trophy, with team USA 8/11 favourites.
"Europe will need to get off to a flyer to stand any chance of winning the cup but the odds suggest it will be tough for Olazabal's team,” said Hills spokesman Rupert Adams.
