The Ricoh Women’s British Open takes place at Hoylake this week and bookmaker Stan James are paying SIX places on this major tournament.

All the big names in ladies golf are competing in the 2012 Women’s British Open with the Asian contingent at the forefront of the betting, in particular Yani Tseng, who has won the event for the last two years, and 2008 heroine Ji-Yai Shin.

Another player of particular interest will be 15-year-old Lydia Ko, the Korea-born New Zealander who three weeks ago became the youngest player ever to win on the LPGA Tour by taking the Canadian Open crown.

British hopes are led by Catriona Matthew, who won this title in 2009, while Stacy Lewis and Paula Creamer spearhead the American challenge.
