Tiger Woods produced some stunning golf in the third round of the AT & T Pebble Beach National, carding a five under par 67 to move to within four shots of leader Charlie Wi. The American is now just 2/1 at
bet365 to claim the title at the tournament and his presence at the top of the leaderboard could well have a disruptive influence on some of the other contenders.
Korean player Wi is leading on -15 with Ken Duke three shots behind on -12 and they can be backed at 13/8 and 11/1 respectively but the style in which Woods played on Saturday, hitting five birdies in six holes, make him the man to beat in California.
The former world number one is not the only player who moved into contention in round three with Phil Mickelson also lurking at -9, along with fellow American Dustin Johnson. Johnson is 14/1 at
Stan James to win the Pebble Beach title with Mickelson 16/1 with the same firm.
