The AT&T National is the next destination on the PGA Tour, with the Pennsylvania-based tournament teeing off on Thursday.
None of the world’s top 10 will be appearing at this tournament and Tiger Woods has also confirmed he will not be taking part in this event due to injuries, meaning Nick Watney is the favourite with a raft of firms, including
bet365, to capitalise on a weakened field.
Watney, winner of the 2011 World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship and two other PGA Tour events, can be backed at 14/1 to record his second victory of the year, but he faces stiff competition from a couple of fellow Americans.
Hunter Mahan is available at 20/1 with
SkyBet, while Ryan Moore, who almost forced a play-off at the Travelers Championship last weekend after a sensational final-round 63, is 22/1 with
StanJames.
The defending champion is Justin Rose and the 30-year-old Englishman is 35/1 with bet365. However he has not been in the best of form just recently, failing to make the cut at his last two tournaments; the Memorial Tournament and US Open. Rose’s last top-10 finish came at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.
Victor Chandler are continuing their “Hole-in-won” promotion, which has now paid out 24 times this season. All you need to do is have a bet on a player to win the AT&T National – win or each-way – and if your selection loses but has a hole-in-one during the tournament, Victor Chandler will pay you out as a winner.
Featuring in the field are four players who have already cost the bookmakers this season (*); Jim Furyk (40/1), Nick O'Hern (150/1), Cameron Tringale (150/1) and Scott Stallings (175/1).
* All odds Victor Chandler.
