Angus Glen Golf Club, Markham, Canada
Course Par Value: 71
Course Yardage: 7,320 yards
Angus Glen is a links-style golf course featuring rolling fairways framed by fescue grass, sand dunes and deep bunkers. In 2006, Davis Love III was responsible for restructuring the North Course in preparation for the return of the Canadian Open in 2007. This entailed creating new tees, narrowing fairways and altering bunkers.
The course was first used for the historic Canadian Open in 2002. After 2007, the policy is to move the event around the country.
Golf Betting Pro Notes: With the venue for the Canadian Open (first played in 1904) changing from year to year, there’s little in the way of meaningful course form to help punters. However, expect solid iron players to continue to do well as they have at most of the recent venues.
