Ross Aylward - 17 Jan 2008

Atunyote Golf Club at Turning Stone, Verona, NY
Course Par Value: 72
Course Yardage: 7,475

Atunyote Golf Club is in a parkland setting of gently rolling hills, streams, waterfalls, and several lakes. The largest body of water, measuring 13 acres, runs along three fairways, including the dramatic finishing hole – a monster at 633 yards! The other par-5’s are the 5th and 8th.

In 2006, the course was used for the BC Open when Endicott Golf Club (its traditional home) was unavailable because of severe weather. Starting in 2007, the course is the venue for the Turning Stone Resort Championship, a new PGA Tour event, and the first of the seven Fall Series (also known as the "Quest for the Card") events to be played after the conclusion of the FedEx Cup. This is to determine the rest of the Top 125 players eligible for the 2008 FedEx Cup.
