The TPC Four Seasons Resort had a major redesign in 2007 and since then the course has posed a more strategic test that demands more creativity and better shot-making skills. The players who find the fairways most often than not will be successful around TPC Four Seasons.

Phil Mickelson returns to the HP Byron Nelson Championship for the first time since 2007. The 1996 tournament winner arrives at the TPC Four Seasons Resort for the fourteenth time. Mickelson finished third at the US Masters, but he comes into this tournament on the back of a disappointing showing at The Players Championship where he finished 10 shots behind winner Matt Kuchar, who is also in action here.

Meanwhile Tour veteran Vijay Singh returns to TPC Four Seasons for the 12th time in his career. Singh appears to be returning to form after posting three top-25 finishes. Singh also enjoys the course at TPC Four Seasons, and has placed inside the top-20 at the HP Byron Nelson Championship on five times, including his win in 2004.

Defending champion Keegan Bradley returns to TPC Four Seasons as he looks to secure back-to-back titles. After securing his first win last year, Keegan was voted the 2011 Rookie of the Year, after going on to win the PGA Championship.

2010 British Open champion Louis Oosthuizen has started the year in fantastic form having secured four top-25 finishes, including a second-place finish at the Masters. This will be the first time the South African has competed at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
