Cog Hill (Dubsdread) Golf Course Guide and Betting Tips

Ross Aylward - 17 Jan 2008

Cog Hill Golf & Country Club, Lemont, IL
Course Par Value: 71
Course Yardage: 7,326

The Dubsdread course features large, tiered bentgrass greens, tree-lined fairways and 110 bunkers! Water is in play on 6 holes. The front nine is easier than the back nine. There are three par-5’s – the 9th (the longest at 600 yards), the 11th and the 15th, which is a prime eagle opportunity. The hardest hole is the 18th. The fairway and the green both slope toward a pond on the left, which makes approach shots especially difficult.

The course was home to the Western Open since 1991, the oldest non-major event on the Tour having been played since 1899. Starting in 2007, the Western Open has been replaced by the BMW Championship.

Golf Betting Pro Notes: The course takes some knowing so back players with previous.
