This John Fought-designed course opened in December
2003 and was the new venue for the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in 2007, one of the three annual World Golf Championships.
Only the top-64 best players in the world are invited to this event, with the draw based on world rankings - the top-rated meeting the 64th. The format is a straight knock-out match play over 18 holes, except the final which is played over two rounds. Prize money is official for both the PGA and European Tours.
