Pebble Beach Golf Links, Pebble Beach, CA Course Par Value: 72 Course Yardage: 6,816

Pebble Beach Golf Links is a stunning golf course situated on the Atlantic coastline. It is the host course for the AT & T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am – Poppy Hills and Spyglass Hill being the other courses used in the rotation. There are spectacular ocean views from many of the holes, including the 18th, a 548-yard par 5, which curves around the rocky shoreline. With wide fairways leading to small greens, and the wind usually a major factor, proper club selection is paramount.

For the AT & T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, all three courses are played in rotation over the first three days. The pros making the cut and the leading amateurs then play the final round at Pebble Beach. Unlike other pro-ams played on resort courses, scoring is much higher, especially if the wind blows. All three courses have bentgrass greens.

Golf Betting Pro Notes: Check the weather and the draw. If there’s bad weather around it’s best to avoid players who are playing the host course in the worst of it. Proven pro-am form is an advantage too as the format places special demands on the players.
