TPC at Sugarloaf, Duluth, GA
Course Par Value: 72
Course Yardage: 7,293
This Greg Norman-designed course is a long hitters paradise with the wide fairways providing little disincentive to those who like to ‘grip it and rip it’. It’s not without its risks, however, with water in play on several holes and several well-placed bunkers. The course’s biggest defence is the weather.
Scores can go through the roof when the wind blows, and putting on the exposed greens can be treacherous.
There are four par-5’s - 4th, 6th, 10th (698 yards, but downhill and reachable in two) and 18th. The par-4 13th is driveable.
In 2007, the TPC at Sugar Loaf became the venue for the AT & T Classic, formerly the BellSouth Classic.
Golf Betting Pro Notes: This is a course that suits a certain style of playing, rather than a course that needs knowing so, providing he’s a long hitter, don't be put off if your selection has no course form.
