Torrey Pines-South Course, La Jolla, CA
Course Par Value: 72
Course Yardage: 7,607

Torrey Pines-South is the host venue for the Buick Invitational - the North Course* is also used during the first two days. It is a severe test even in benign conditions; par is a good score in windy conditions.
The bentgrass greens are undulating and difficult to read. It will host the US Open in 2008.

*The North Course has been lengthened in recent years to 7,568 yards (par-72), but still plays around a shot easier than the South Course. This is something to bear in mind when betting in-play.

The Buick Invitational is the 4th PGA Tour event in 2007 and the first event in the so-called ‘West Coast Swing’. Players play one round on each of the courses over the first two days, with the final two rounds being played on the South Course.

GolfBettingpro Notes: Californian-born players have a great record in this event, which helps to narrow the field down a bit. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are previous winners here.
