In the aftermath of this past weekend’s US Open, the PGA Tour heads to Connecticut for this week’s Travelers Championship.
Congressional Country Club conqueror Rory McIlroy is out of action this week, and in the absence of the Northern Irishman the bookmakers’ are confident of their being a home winner at TPC River Highlands.
Hunter Mahan is the 14/1 favourite with
bet365 to leave Cromwell, Connecticut with his fourth title on the PGA Tour, while Nick Watney is priced at 16/1 with
Betfred to add to his WGC-Cadillac Championship success back in March. Bubba Watson’s struggle at the US Open has not stopped him being made third favourite with Victor Chandler at 20/1, while fellow American Zach Johnson is best-priced at 25/1 with bet365.

World number 14 Poulter failed to make an impact at the US Open as he missed the cut, and that is reflected in his offs of 50/1 with Betfred, while Harrington, a two-time Major winner, is 45/1 with bet365 after finishing tied for 46th place on five-over. Swede Jacobson did, however, put in a strong showing in Bethesda, Maryland, finishing tied for 14th place, and he is 50/1 with
