With the fourth round now underway, Phil Mickelson is Sky Bet’s favourite to win the US Masters.

Mickelson is 11/8 in Sky Bet's US Masters betting after a stunning six-under-par back nine on Saturday left him just a shot behind leader Peter Hanson.

The three-time winner at Augusta had drifted to as long as 25/1 following his two-over-par opening round, but steadily moved into contention before making his charge on the back nine to go eight under.

Hanson's price has been cut even more significantly as he heads into the final round at 4/1 thanks to a seven-under-par 67, having begun the penultimate day of action at 70/1, while Louis Oosthuizen is 5/1 from 16/1 after moving onto seven under with a 69. Bubba Watson (8/1 and six under) and Matt Kuchar (18/1 and five under) are both well in contention along with Hunter Mahan (25/1) and Padraig Harrington (33/1), who both went from level par to four under.

Saturday saw Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's hopes all but ended as they finished three and two over respectively, while Lee Westwood (18/1) struggled to build on his fine opening round again with a level par effort on Saturday, leaving him on four under.

Sky Bet's Golf Trader John Rhodes told us: "Taking into account that 19 of the last 21 winners have come from the final pairing and Mickelson's record here, it is impossible not to consider him the strong favourite, while Hanson was in sensational form on Saturday and has been promising to make his breakthrough for some while.

"However, the lead has switched hands relentlessly throughout the last three days and there's plenty of quality sitting just off the lead, providing us with what promises to be a gripping final day."
